Air Canada discontinuing Calgary flights for winter

Air Canada is discontinuing its flights from Sea-Tac to Calgary for the winter.

The Canadian airline is also discontinuing flights from Portland to the Alberta metropolis.

The service interruption is effective Oct. 31 through April 30.

Sea-Tac-based Horizon Air will continue to fly the route three times daily throughout the year.
