They’re not paying Wall Street salaries, but nearly 500 seasonal workers will get the pleasure of working with people having fun this summer at Federal Way’s Wild Waves Theme Park and get a paycheck in the bargain.

The theme park will host an on-site job fair Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the park at 36201 Enchanted Parkway S. to interview applicants for nearly 500 seasonal positions.

The positions range from ride operators to food service workers, retail clerks, lifeguards, ticket takers, maintenance workers, security guards, parking attendants and human resources staffers, the park said.

Applicants must be over 16. Interested candidates should visit the park Web site at www.wildwaves.com to learn more about the positions and to apply directly online, the park advised.

Online applications must be completed by Friday in order to pre-register for an interview at the job fair, the park said.
