Tacoma’s MultiCare Health System will open the latest in its network of urgent care centers Monday in Spanaway.

The new center will serve Parkland, Spanaway, Frederickson, Graham, Roy, East Pierce County and South Tacoma from its location at 225 176th St. S. The building housing the new urgent care already is home to a MultiCare family practice clinic and physical therapy services.

The Spanaway urgent care facility joins seven other MultiCare urgent care clinics in Pierce and South King counties in Gig Harbor, Lakewood, University Place, Westgate, Auburn, Kent and Covington.

The new urgent care will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Staff members will include board-certified physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
