Brown & Haley add new Roca candy, new Mountain Bar flavor

It’s been a while since I’ve checked in with Brown & Haley – and here’s what I’ve missed.

• Macadamia Roca. Joining the Roca family (Almond, Cashew, Candy Cane and Mocha) it’s on the model of the brand-parent, Almond Roca, but uses the rare macadamia nut.

Sales are going well, says a B&H spokesman, but the product is not available yet in the continental U.S.
Well, it’s almost not available in the continental U.S.

You can find it in Hawaii, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan – and the only place you’ll find it between here and Vermont is at the Brown & Haley store (the little round pink one) down by Freighthouse Square in Tacoma at 1940 E. 11th St.

Can pistachio be far behind?

• Cappuccino Mountain Bar. Joining the mint flavored bar as the newest additions to the Mountain Bar brand, this one tastes of creamy coffee.

Meanwhile, representatives of the Tacoma company are off this week to the 40th Annual International Sweets & Biscuit Show in Cologne, Germany – which will host 1,593 exhibitors from 65 countries.
