Free museum admission on first weekends for Bank of America cardholders

If you have an account with Bank of America, you need to remember the first weekend of every month, when you’ll get free admission to four area museums. This weekend, present a credit or debit card from the bank to gain free admission to the Tacoma Art Museum, Seattle Art Museum, Northwest African American Museum and Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience.

Free museum weekend, courtesy of Target

This weekend sees more than 80 arts institutions across the country open their doors for free, thanks to retailer Target. The Target Arts and Wonder Free Family Event runs July 16-18, and gives families the chance to explore the arts for free in participating venues.

Local venues offering free entry include the Seattle Art Museum (10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 17) and the Wing Luke Museum (10 a.m.-8 p.m. July 17).
