Mummies and Deadies get in free this Saturday at the Washington State History Museum
This Saturday, halfway between Mothers’ and Fathers’ Days, kids can get their parent in free to the Washington State History Museum with one paid child admission to see current exhibit “Wrapped! The Search for the Essential Mummy,” as well as the rest of the museum.
Special events include an appearance by Stanley the Camel, Egyptian cookie decorating station and hieroglyphic etching. “Wrapped!” features Tacoma’s own mummy Ankh Wennefer, bought last century by Allen Mason, and the history that went with it.
