Music for Louis XIV next Thursday at Trinity Lutheran, Tacoma, thanks to the Salish Sea Festival

They were concerts given three hundred years ago for an aging French king who thought he was divine – and now the music is playing again in Tacoma next Thursday night. The Salish Sea Festival is kicking off a five-concert series of early music next week at Trinity Lutheran Church in Parkland with “The Little Evening Concerts for Louis XIV,” featuring chamber music on baroque flute, baroque violin, viola and viola da gamba, heard for the first time since the 18th century.
