I didn’t post yesterday, so I’m catching up on two days of free arts.
Jan. 8: Three very different galleries downtown, all within one hour. First up Brick House, always worth a visit, with local artists and a relaxed atmosphere. Up through end of January is work by Seattle painter Mindi Katzman, easy on the eye and in a variety of styles. Her older work (2000) captures still-life fruit floating in a dimensionless sea of ivory.
