Ravenstail robes on view in dancing and weaving event this Saturday on the Key Peninsula

A presentation on the lost art of Ravenstail robe weaving, a Pacific Northwest Native American tradition, will be given by artist and author Cheryl Samuel this Saturday courtesy of the Two Waters Arts Alliance in Vaughn on the Key Peninsula.

The visit includes a presentation on Samuel’s findings on this art form from library and museum sources, followed by Haan Dei I Jin and Tsimshian Haayuuk dancers dancing the robes with drums and singing.
