Unusual art shows in Puyallup City Hall, Tahoma Family Center and UPS Collins Library

New shows in Gig Harbor, Puyallup and Tacoma


Three new shows by local artists are up this weekend in alternative venues: a Gig Harbor café, the Puyallup City Hall and Tacoma municipal buildings.

Painter Donna Carver, recently arrived in Gig Harbor from California, is opening “A Moment in Time” at Cutters Point Uptown in Gig Harbor. Carver portrays an emotional response to the rich colors of Pacific seascapes.
