New poetry contest from Northwest Playwrights Alliance

The Northwest Playwrights Alliance has just announced a brand-new poetry contest for Northwest poets. The contest, co-sponsored by the NPA and Gwylan Publishers, is open to residents of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Wyoming, Montana and British Columbia, and offers a first prize of $100, publication and readings at the NPA’s annual salon at Seattle Repertory Theatre and at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts in Olympia in October 2010. At least three other poets will receive an honorarium of $25, publication, and readings at the Rep or WCPA.
