Tacoma Musical Playhouse announces 2012/13 season

Tacoma Musical Playhouse has just announced its new season, which spans musical theater from classics like “The Sound of Music” to the movie-based “Legally Blonde.”

Opening the season in September is “Chicago,” the award-winning, 15-year-running Kander and Ebb Broadway musical about a murdering chorus girl in Prohibition-era Chicago. Local breast cancer survivor is looking for a Tacoma/Olympia theater to collaborate on her new musical about cancer survival

I sometimes get queries from readers: where to find a show, clarification on stories, how much the old painting in their attic is worth. (Answer: I haven’t a clue!)
