Several South Sound filmmakers have films showing in the NorthWest Film Forum’s Local Sightings festival this week.
The festival, now in its 13th year, runs Friday through Wednesday at the Film Forum’s cinemas on 12th Avenue on Capitol Hill in Seattle.
Six feature films and 75 shorts will be screened. Friday’s opening-night film is the coming-of-age dramedy “Bummer Summer” by Olympia filmmaker Zach Weintraub. It shows at 7 p.m.
