Proctor Gallery Art-A-Thon raises money for the FISH Food Bank this Saturday

It’s not just fresh fruit and veggies this Saturday at the Proctor Farmers’ Market – it’ll be live art as well. Artists from the Proctor Art Gallery will be painting and sculpting all day long at the market to raise awareness and funds for the nearby FISH Food Bank.

Over the past three years the gallery artists have raised more than $3,000 for the weekly food bank, which supports 4,500 local folks every month with supplies of free groceries. And while canned and packaged food is still helpful for those in need, there’s nothing as nutritious as fresh
