A new collaborative book of Tacoma-based photography and poetry will debut with a public reading and exhibit this weekend at Tacoma Art Museum. “20/20: Tacoma in Images and Verse” combines work from Michael Magee and 21 other local poets inspired by Tacoma photography by Peter Serko, who captures the city’s streets and docklands in atmospheric images.
The 80-page, locally published book ranges over bus stops and cafes, city architecture and the waterfront, with a matching poem facing each. Poets include Jean Musser, Connie Walle, Kevin Miller and David Fewster.
