Your hard work and dedication was well represented with new “faces” attending and participating in various FREE “activities” (ART demonstrations, workshops, etc.) scheduled throughout the day.

A big “Appreciation” and “Thank You” to our first time ART guests, our beloved local community, TAP members and community sponsors for helping make this event successful through attendance/participation, donations, marketing, membership, support and volunteer efforts.

We look forward to seeing and working with “ALL” of you again with future TAP events – GO ARTS!

REMEMBER: TAP’s mission is to provide access to equipment and training that will allow more people to affordably explore their creativity and artistic ability. We have a special emphasis to reach underserved individuals with FREE or REDUCED-COST MEMBERSHIPS and to offer ARTS education in the community.

OK, we’re all waiting to learn which areas of Tacoma are “under represented” and which colors of people do they need to achieve “diversity?” Do we need more Congolese from the North End, more Iranians from Central District, more Brazilians from the East side…or what?
