Kinecting to Dance at EMP

Bust out your moves at “Kinecting to Dance” tonight at the Experience Music Project’s Sky Church. With special appearances by Seattle dance crew the Massive Monkees and stars from Dance This, the free night of dance includes live DJs, Xbox/Kinect dance competitions, food trucks and more. 7-11 p.m. tonight. Circus meets symphony at Benaroya Hall

When you combine world-class aerialists, contortionists and strongmen with Seattle’s own symphony orchestra, you can expect plenty of breath-taking drama. Choreographed to favorites by Mozart, Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Bartók, Beethoven, Debussy and more, Cirque de la Symphonie comes back to Seattle fresh from stellar performances in Australia. 8 p.m. tonight, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. July 13. $19-$112. Third Thursday Art Walk and Mingle 

Catch late-opening galleries and free museums next Thursday night at Tacoma’s third Thursday Art Mingle (formerly Art Walk). Shows include oil landscapes by painter Kathy Gore Fuss at Gallery 301, Sean Alexander’s “Life is Ood” project at Fulcrum, 253 Collective and more. 5-8 p.m. July 18. Free. Old Town Rhythm and Blues Fest

Catch live blues all day and night at the Old Town Rhythm and Blues Festival this Saturday. Noon-7 p.m. sees ongoing free live blues bands outside in Old Town Park, while from 7 p.m.-midnight a $20 ticket gets you into shows at The Spar, Old Town Music Society, Slavonian Hall, The Mountaineers clubhouse and Treos café. There’ll also be food vendors and beer gardens. Get tickets at Ted Brown Music, Musician Exchange, Parkway Tavern, Treos, The Spar and Metropolitan Market.
