Vashon Art Studio Tour
Vashon Island’s many artists open up their doors this and next weekend in the annual spring studio tour. The self-guided driving tour is free and features 23 studios in media including blown glass, jewelry, woodwork, candles, pottery, tile and mosaic, sculpture, prints and painting. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. May 4-5, 11-12. Medieval music at the Revels Salon
If you saw last year’s Christmas Revels you’ll remember the lilting sounds of the vielle or medieval fiddle, played by Shulamit Kleinerman. She’s back this weekend for a Salon Concert for the Revels, together with fiddler Ruthie Dornfeld and young students, on an 800-year-old musical journey for vielle, fiddle, harp, voice and percussion. 3 p.m. May 5. $15 adults/$5 children. Brass Unlimited play pops
Brass Unlimited’s 6th annual free Pops Concert is this Sunday at TCC, featuring jazz saxophonist Kareen Kandi playing Miles Davis tunes.
