“Stills in the Hills” at White River
Check out the history of moonshine in “Stills in the Hills,” a new exhibit just opened at White River Valley Museum in Auburn. Using confiscated stills, period alcoholic beverage bottles, signage, newspapers and photographs, the show explores home-brewed hooch in the Prohibition Era, and why the 18th Amendment was eventually repealed.
