Eatonville Art Festival
This weekend sees the 41st annual Eatonville Art Festival. Hosted by the local Lions Club, the festival gathers 100 Northwest artists and artisans for live music, demonstrations, Western art, silent auction and vendor stalls, plus a kids area, food and beer garden and more. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 3-5. TAM’s Best of the Northwest Fest
Celebrate the best of the Northwest at a free community festival this weekend at Tacoma Art Museum. Art activities include watercoloring landscapes, sketching still lifes and a multimedia collaborative project, plus chalk art challenge on Tollefson Plaza.

Auburn’s going Artrageous
Yet another art festival this weekend: the Auburn Artrageous Artists in Action fair.
Moving this year from Les Gove Park to Main Street downtown, the fair offers families the chance to make art alongside local professionals. Live music on the main stage includes Mr. Pink, Whiskey River Americas, Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band and more. New this year are temporary art installations “Pianos on Parade” (find one and play one!), “Happiness” (take one of the 72 corked and empty wine bottles) and “Pixilation,” embodying bouncing light. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 4.
