Not all of the vegetables will be edible at this Saturday’s Proctor Farmers’ Market. Artist Rachael Dotson will be signing her newest print “Asparagus” there.

Dotson is known around Tacoma as a public muralist. My colleague, Rosemary Ponnekanti, has written about Dotson and her murals before.

Dotson will be at the Proctor Farmers’ Market Merchandise Booth on Saturday from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. to sign her third print in a series.

“Asparagus” joins the Market’s earlier print releases: “Corn” and “Tulip.” The trio are replicas of Dotson’s large exterior murals on 27th Street.

The prints are available for $10 each, two for $18, or three for $25.
