International Native American flutist Gary Stroutsos will play a free concert next weekend as part of the sixth-birthday celebration for Source Yoga studio on North 21st Street, Tacoma. The day also includes free yoga classes and other workshops.

Stroutsos has worked with Navajo flutemaker Paul Thompson to bring to life ancient tunes and stories, woven with improvisation and narration. The concert on Sept. 10 will include flute music of Native America and China, as well as a tribute to the 1968 improvisational Paul Horn recording “Inside the Taj Mahal.”

The studio will also offer free yoga classes, discounts and short massages.

Stroutsos concert 2 p.m. Sept. 10. Free. 2712 N. 21st St. Suite A, Tacoma. 253-756-8066, www.sourceyogaonline.com, www.garystroutsos.com
