“Nevsky” and the Sonic Funk Orchestra live with Washington Contemporary Ballet in Tacoma this weekend

Washington Contemporary Ballet’s annual Spring Repertory Concert this Sunday features “Nevsky,” a ballet by Kay Englert telling the story of the Russian Holocaust, as well as two new dances to live music by the Sonic Funk Orchestra.

2 p.m. and 6 p.m. May 15. $18 general admission/$12 military, students and seniors. Mt. Tahoma High School auditorium, 4634 S. 74th St., Tacoma. 253-474-4312, www.wcbdance.org
