Canonici sings a Renaissance tapestry at UPS

The Tacoma-based four-voice consort Canonici will sing “Musica Antiqua” at the University of Puget Sound tonight, featuring Renaissance English and Flemish madrigals, chansons and masses. 7:30 p.m. tonight. $12.50/$8.50/free for UPS students. Valentine’s Day with guitar virtuoso Andre Feriante

It doesn’t get more musically romantic than spending Valentine’s Day listening to Seattle virtuoso Andre Feriante play neo-flamenco/classical guitar in Benaroya Hall. For his 13th Valentine’s Day concert, Feriante will combine Spanish, jazz poetry and classical guitar with mandolin and ukelele, with tenor Steve Thoreson, pianist Overton Berry, guitarist Erich Fridrich, and jazz vocalist Annie O’Neill. 8 p.m. Feb. 12. $40.
