Click! Family Flick: “Chicken Run”

The monthly free family film is on again at The Grand Cinema tomorrow. “Chicken Run,” the 2000 British stop-motion animation comedy set on a sinister Yorkshire chicken farm, from the makers of “Wallace and Grommit.” Doors open 10 a.m., screening 10:30 a.m. July 17. South Hill Art Fest

South Hill Community Council is partnering with the Puyallup School District and Pierce County Parks to sponsor the South Hill Arts Fest, a competitive showcase for young artists featuring 2D and 3D art, chalk-offs and more. The festival is a community fundraiser for a sensory playground for Meridian Habitat Park, including a sensory garden and hands-on kinetic sculpture. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 21. Free. Glass inspires dance at MoG

Dance Northwest performs their annual dance expo “Art inspires Dance” in the big entrance area of the Museum of Glass, with a variety of styles. 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Aug. 21. So’Just at Evergreen in Tacoma

So’Just 2010 is an all-volunteer organized, all-ages festival of art, music, and dance featuring local musicians, dancers, comedians and spoken word performances, plus local social justice organizations providing information and sharing ideas from booths. 2-6 p.m. Aug. 21.
