The annual Summer Pottery Sale’s on again, where local ceramicists sell their wares at great prices and all in one place. You can get cups, bowls, vases, sculptural pieces and more, as well as seconds and older stock for cheap. It’s all hand-crafted by local potters such as Susan Thompson, who recently opened a temporary retail site downtown as part of Spaceworks.
The sale runs 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 20 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 21 at 717 N. D St., Tacoma, in the Stadium District. (That’s near the corner of North 7th Street, down near Garfield Park.)
