Stuck inside with nothing to do, with kids on winter break and sick of presents already? If you can see yourself in this place next week, you’re in luck – the Museum of Glass is extending its hours from December 26-31, open every day next week. (It’s usually closed Mondays and Tuesdays.)

Here are the holiday hours:

December 24: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., December 25: CLOSED, December 26: 10 a.m.-5 p.m., December 27: noon-5 p.m., December 28-31: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The Museum will be closed New Year’s Day.

So, what can you see there right now? “Kids Design Glass” is full of incredibly cute creatures designed by kids and blown by artists; it’ll inspire any kid to head to the studio. “Preston Singletary” explores Native American design in gorgeous opaque colored glass; “Incoming” displays the best of MoG’s fledgling collection, and of course there’s the stunning “Fluent Steps” on the plaza outside. Jason Christian blows in the Hot Shop December 28-29, the Hot Shop team works the other days.

Admission is $12/$10 seniors and students/$5 for ages 6-12/free for under-6. 1801 Dock St., Tacoma. 866-4-MUSEUM, www.museumofglass.org
