Here are the highlights from today’s fishing report, prepared by my co-worker Bruce Drysdale.
South Sound: Anglers aren’t heading out from Point Defiance boathouse in great numbers, but those who have are seeing better luck and bigger fish recently, including a 10-pound, 14-ounce chinook over the weekend and many in the 6-to-8-pound range. Try your luck over by Vashon Island on the low tide and closer to the park on high tide.
Spanaway: Fishing is good for hefty trout. Trollers are having good luck going slow with Rapalas around 15 feet. Bank anglers are using rainbow PowerBait or …
