We’ve joked for years that the National Park Service could solve its budget issue by simply selling the naming rights to some of its most famous destinations. The AT&T Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park presented by Wal-Mart, etc.

What would this look like? You need look no farther than “Nike National Park at Mount Rainier.”

 

Not sure how much Nike paid to have their logo emblazoned on this ridge just above Paradise, but our sources tell us the money will be used to build a Starbucks on the summit.
