Staffers from Olympic National Forest, along with the Wild Fish Conservancy and the Hood Canal Coordinating Council, will host a public meeting Nov. 30 to discuss a proposal to put engineered logjams in the Dosewallips River.
The meeting will be from 6-7 p.m. at the Brinnon Community Center, located at 306144 U.S. 101 in Brinnon.
Staffers will discuss a proposed series of restoration projects designed to stabilize the river channel, reduce flooding and improve fish habitat in the river. Project proponents will explain the goals and objectives of the proposed project and gather comments from the public.
