A friendly reminder from the Adventure Guys. Climbing permits for Mount St. Helens go on sale today. They’ll likely go fast. In fact, the website, mshinstitute.org, has not been working correctly since 9 a.m. when permits sales began.

UPDATE: Keep at it if you’re having trouble connecting to mshinstitute.org. I finally connected after about 15 minutes of trying and scored six permits at $22 each.

UPDATE: thirty minutes in and every July and August weekend permit (that’s 100 permits per day) has been sold.
