Meany Lodge: Washington’s oldest ski area
Hope you read this morning’s article on Meany Lodge, Washington’s oldest ski area. The private ski area opened in 1928 and added one of the state’s first rope tows in 1938. Not much has changed since. The Mountaineers have kept this historic location running much like it did 75 years ago complete with a rope tow powered by an old Chevy pickup engine.
Be sure to check out the multimedia version of the story.
