Neither Jeff nor I have enough freedom in our schedule or our inhibitions to attend this event.  So, like the participants, the world record skinny dip will go uncovered.

But if you want to be a part of history, here’s what you need to know:

When: 1 p.m., July 13.

Where: Lake Bronson Club, mile 5.25 on Sultan Basin Road. Also Fraternity Snoqualmie Family Nudist Park, 24050 Southeast 127th Street, Issaquah.

More info: 360-793-0286

The event is Co-sponsored by the American Association for Nude Recreation and The Naturist Society.

Here’s the press release from Lake Bronson Family Nudist Club:

Lake Bronson has a long history of being a skinny-dipping location, and Lake Bronson Family Nudist Club is celebrating its 75th Anniversary of organized nudism at this location this year.

Lake Bronson Club is located on 320 acres of forest land around LakeBronson and straddling the Sultan River. Apart from the 7.5-acre spring fed lake, there are miles of hiking trails as well as an 85 foot waterfall. For your use and enjoyment, there are kayaks and canoes, paddleboards and party floats. The sports minded will enjoy the tennis court, badminton court, and volleyball court. Also available are horseshoes and shuffleboard. The Café is open on weekends in season, while the Lodge hosts weekly potluck dinners, monthly dances, as well as other activities.

In celebration of our 75th Anniversary, the public is invited to participate in the skinny-dip. Admission is free to those who have completed registration by 12:30 pm on July 13th. There will be a lunch service available after the skinny-dip, and beach activities after lunch. Visitors are also invited to participate in our potluck dinner at 6:30 pm, and attend our “Happy Birthday / Anniversary” themed dance starting at 8:30 pm.

Visitor registration forms are available on our website at www.lakebronson.com and should be completed prior to arriving at our office. To speed up the registration process you are encouraged to email the completed forms to office@lakebronson.com. A background check will be done on all visitors.

Lake Bronson Family Nudist Club is situated 5.25 miles north of Sultan, WA off the left side of Sultan Basin Road. Sultan is approximately 22 miles east of the city of Everett along Highway 2. Please allow extra driving time if you are driving through Sultan as their annual Shindig is also on that weekend. Office hours on July 13 will be 9:00 to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

For more information, please email skinnydip@lakebronson.com or call the Lake Bronson office at 360-793-0286.
