Mount Rainier forced to close Nisqually road because of trees down

Officials at Mount Rainier National Park released this announcement earlier this morning:

Until further notice the road to Longmire is closed at the Nisqually entrance due to numerous trees down on the road. A winter storm warning is in effect through 10 a.m. Wednesday. Always check road and weather conditions prior to visiting the park.
