Bear and cubs wandering near Paradise

Visitors to Paradise at Mount Rainier National Park this weekend got the chance to view a bear and cubs wandering below the road in Paradise Valley. The bears were far below, at a safe distance and definitely too far for visitors to feed them (don’t even try this with marmots let alone bears, by the way).

Sadly, I only had a small point-and-shoot camera in pack and these are the best pics I could get. Let me know if you snapped something better and we can share the pictures here on the blog.
