Mount Rainier National Park just released the names of the four climbers from Waco, Texas, who were rescued Thursday by climbing rangers. Climbing ranger Nick Hall fell and died during the rescue. Stuart Smith, Ross VanDyke, Stacy Wren and Noelle Smith all suffered non life threatening injuries according to parks spokespeople. Wren is the climber who is hiking off the mountain today.  The park did not release ages of the climbers.

While the park closed for several days after the shooting death of ranger Margaret Anderson in January, park spokeswoman Brandi Stewart says the park “is fully operational and I’ve heard no word of changing that.” The road to Sunrise was suppose to open today, but is closed so rescuers can use it as an operating base.
