Several rangers from Mount Rainier National Park were part of the procession leading to the memorial service for Washintgon State Patrol trooper Tony Radulescu.

The 44-year-old was shot and killed during a traffic stop on state Route 16 a week ago.

Other park staffers were planning to attend the memorial in Kent, including the park’s superintendent Randy King.

It was less than two months ago that much of the park’s staff took part or attended the memorial for law enforcement ranger Margaret Anderson, who was shot and killed on Jan. 1 while on duty at the park.
