Here is the rest of the news release:
She worked in the comptroller’s organization overseeing the administration of the NPS construction program. She worked in the cultural resources division in Pacific West Region from 2007 until coming to Washington in 2010. She also worked in Olympic, Whiskeytown and Mount Rainier.
Barbara went about her administrative duties with an attention to detail and extraordinary level of commitment to the people and mission of the National Park Service. Though in WASO for only a short time, she gained the highest respect of her peers and supervisors as she went about her work in the budget division. Friends describe her as selfless, hardworking, and a wonderful, caring person.
Our hearts go out to Barbara’s daughter, Jennifer Weddle, her three grandchildren, her mom and dad and her many friends in the Park Service family.
