If you want to learn how to confidently ride in traffic, consider taking part in this class.
The Capital Bicycling Club’s “Urban Cycling” class will be from 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Instructors will cover topics including:
- How to outfit yourself and your bike.
- How to navigate intersections and ride comfortably with traffic.
- Minor bike up-keeping and flat tire repair.
The class will end with an on-bike lesson and group ride through urban downtown practicing all that is learned.
Instructors are certified by the League of American Bicyclist. Bike in good working order and helmet are required. The cost is $35, and includes materials. The class size is limited to 12 people. Location will be given when you register.
