Small quake shakes Packwood area

A magnitude 3.4 earthquake occurred at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday near Mount Rainier, 17 miles east of Ashford, according to the Associated Press.

The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network reports a dozen people reported light shaking, mostly in the Packwood area, said the AP story.
