A public meeting on the management planning for Olallie State Park will be held
Thursday. The park is located four miles east of North Bend, on the Interstate 90 corridor along the South Fork Snoqualmie River.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m., at the King County Library Center, 906 Newport Way NW, Issaquah.

Hikers, campers, backpackers, scramblers, climbers, bicyclists and other non-motorized recreationists are invited to participate in developing a management plan for the park.

Three alternatives are being offered from which a preferred alternative will be created based on input from user-groups’ meetings.

People interested in attending as asked to RSVP by e-mail to with “Yes will attend” in the subject line. Sign-up not required but doing so will help assure enough handouts are available which will be distributed first to those signed up.

If you have questions or want additional information, send an e-mail to and type “Additional Olallie information” in Subject line.
