Sister resorts Crystal Mountain and The Summit at Snoqualmie will donate $1 for every lift ticket sold Saturday to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund. Guests will be given the opportunity to match the donation to support earthquake relief efforts.

“We’re glad to be able to help the people of Haiti in our own way during this extremely difficult time,” John Kircher, president of Boyne Resort’s western operations, said in a news release. “Hopefully people will come up and support the cause this Saturday while taking advantage of the improving conditions.”

Crystal Mountain has received six inches of new snow in the last 24 hours, giving it 39 inches at the base. The Summit has one to two inches of new snow, creating a base ranging from 52 to 58 inches.

Crystal Mountain and The Summit at Snoqualmie are operated by Boyne Resorts.
