Most-read stories for 2011 on thenewstribune.com

The internet is a big place and doesn’t care about geographic boundaries. When thenewstribune.com team looks at our daily lists of what’s popular online, we are often reminded of that fact. For some reason, The Drudge Report linked to our versions of Associated Press items and attracted hundreds of thousands of readers to our site. Another bit of click-candy was this 2009 piece about a Gig Harbor youth who advocated pot legalization. The two-year-old story found a new life through the social curation site stumbleupon.

So given that context, I give you the 10 most popular tnt.com stories of the year.
